The Beauty of Winter in Minnesota

This is a snapshot of my Heaven on earth. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE winter in Minnesota. "What's not to love?", I ask: the crisp, clean air; the hushed beauty that falls over the hills and valleys when covered in a nice white blanket of snow; the crunch of the snow with each step you take; the fun had playing in it, whether by sledding, snowboard, hiking, snowmobiling or 4-wheeling (ATVing) in it; or the great feel of a warm, cozy house filled with family, thick, fluffy blankets, and warm socks after a day of adventuring.

Ta-Daaaaa!

I DID IT! I have been toying with the idea of writing a blog for two to three years, and I finally "bit the bullet" and "took the plunge". I have been lurking around so many beautiful, inspiring, funny, feel-good, creative blogs and I want to share them along with my own life. I want this blog to express my love of life, family, friends, creativity, laughter and people in general. I am hoping to inspire and uplift people with this blog by sharing a peek into my own crazy, wonderful life. 

The other thing that I hope to accomplish with this blog is personal growth in spirit, compassion, love, creativity, faith, and last but certainly not least, my writing, grammar & punctuation skills. I will be relying on you to help me grow along the way. I encourage direction and criticism that is given from the heart, not from arrogance or spite. I am a huge fan of the "Mean People Suck" bumper sticker and I do my very best, not to have anyone use that phrase in regard to me.

What you read on this site will be a good dose of reality, not something that is all roses and cotton candy. I love life in all it's glory--even if it is jumbled, cluttered, and just plain messy sometimes.
